Honestly....

When I first signed up for Blogger, I only intended to use it for the Practical Magic Blog Party.  And I thought that maybe I'd post some of my artwork from time to time.  Then I got into reading other people's blogs for about a year.  Then I just stopped using it at all.  Why?  Because I had no clue what to post. Not being a computer whiz, I had a little trouble with taking pictures and posting my work.  So, I just never posted them.  I didn't think that I had anything worth writing about, so I never really has anything to share.  I live a pretty simple life...work, cook, clean, eat sleep, and draw (when I get a chance).  Nothing exciting to share...   I never really kept a dairy, so sharing anything personal is not always easy for me.  So, what's changed?  Well...not really my lifestyle, I still do the same things.  But my attitude towards life.  Although, I'm still not the best person at keeping a tight schedule and I have no idea what the heck to write about. I do plan to start blogging on a much more regular basis. Again, you might ask why?  Because if I look at my life like a new art journal, then today I have just opened it up and blogging is going to be my pencil...

   Okay, it's been a long time coming, but I'm back.  Today marks the start of my blog makeover.  My head is sooooo full of ideas right now that I don't even know where to start.  It just clicked.  No, nothing's broken...lol  It's like the engine in my head has just been turned on.  I'm not going to go into details now, the thoughts are flying by in a whirl wind and my brain needs to catch up.  So, I'm going to hit the road and head off to work.  More to come when I get home tonight.

Okay, I'm a little bit late, but I've been so busy.  I've purging and organizing.  I had to slow down a bit for the holidays, but now I'm back on track.  I've been sorting, scanning, dusting, and getting rid of all those negative vibes related to my space.  It's starting to feel like home again.  And I'm starting to enjoy the whole process, it just doesn't feel like work anymore.  So, I'm giving myself until Imbolc to get things back on track, because I'm getting to the things that are harder to sort and purge, you know, those things that you have an emotional or financial attachment to.  I'm still carrying around my sketchbook wherever I go, but I can't wait to get into full swing.  Just a bit longer and I'll be there.  Well, I guess I'm gonna go throw dinner in the crock-pot and get back to organizing, I only have two hours to devote to the garage today before I go to work.  See ya soon!

The Magical Writing Desk

   Okay, I have actually finished one of the ideas I had for the party today.  I'm so excited!  One of my favorite scenes in the movie is when Sally is writing Gilly a letter about how loney she is.  The words in the letter are so touching that I could see why someone would want to read it about a thousand times.  So below is my creation of the desk that Sally was writing her letter at.  Hope you Enjoy it!  :)

Time is running out...

  I've been sick for the last week and I'm so far behind on everything.  It's almost the 25th and I'm running out of time.  Will I be able to get my post up in time for the Pratical Magic Blog Party?  I pray to the Goddesss that I will.  Unfortunately,  I have to go to work in 2 hours. So I won't be able to post anything until after I get home.  But I did want to try a little test run before I go to work.  Let's see if I can get a couple of pics I took posted.  They're the best in could do in my neighborhood for Mabon.  Enjoy!  :)

Hey, that wasn't that hard!  Okay, it's time for me to go finish up what I was doing.  I'll be on later, even if I'm sleep posting...lol

  What a wonderful day it is today!  The sun is shining, my housework is almost done, dinner is started, and no one is home to interrupt my creativity!  But best of all, I have my first follower!  Thank you Christy!!!!!!
